Human creations have rights to be protected by laws and legislations. Therefore official bodies and forces are asked to take all required measures to protect IP by developing the basis for efficient control and protection. SADER invited the authorities to build specialized IP courts that are capable of appropriate ruling regarding Intellectual Property infringements and crimes. </FONT> </p> <p style="MARGIN-TOP: 10pt; MARGIN-LEFT: 24pt; TEXT-INDENT: -6pt; MARGIN-RIGHT: 24pt">&nbsp;<FONT face="Tahoma" size="2"> LIPA vice president Judge Naseeb Eliya explained in detail the minutes of this project, going through the various products that LIPA has brought to life in order to increase citizen awareness on IP. Eliya urged all responsibles to encourage human creativity by protecting IP rights and thus providing a positive environment for further inventions and creations.</FONT> </p> <p style="MARGIN-TOP: 10pt; MARGIN-LEFT: 24pt; TEXT-INDENT: -6pt; MARGIN-RIGHT: 24pt">&nbsp;<FONT face="Tahoma" size="2"> USAID representative Lena Jammal made it clear that the project is the result of cooperation between the USAID as a donor and civil society organizations to educate citizens on their rights and duties regarding IP protection.</FONT> </p> <p style="MARGIN-TOP: 10pt; MARGIN-LEFT: 24pt; TEXT-INDENT: -6pt; MARGIN-RIGHT: 24pt">&nbsp;<FONT face="Tahoma" size="2"> President of IP protection Unit in the Ministry of Economy Salwa Faoor said that the successful policy of intellectual property resides in securing a balance between the rights of creators and writers on one hand, and the benefit of the society from this creativity on the other.
