 Honorary President of the Court of Cassation.
Member of the Beirut Bar Association since 1993.
Lecturer in several Law schools (USJ University, La Sagesse University, Beirut Arab University) since 1951.
Drafted the lebanese Civil Procedural law upon a commissioning from the government in year 1983. This law was enacted the same year.
Teaching law ever since 1961, namely International law, Conflict of Laws, Family Law, Anglo-
Saxon Law, Comparative Law, Law on Inheritance and Wills and Intellectual Property.
Author of several law books and publications (in Arabic, French and
English) and among these the considerable encyclopedia on Procedural law (25 volumes).
Received the award of the twentieth century of the scientific, professional and social
accomplishments (elected among 500 of the intellectual and influential leaders of the world)
by a decision given by the Board of Directors of the "American Biographical Institute"(1996).
Received a certificate for the significant accomplishments in the legal field, issued by the
Biographical studies and researches center of Cambridge (England).
