 Dean of La Sagesse Law School for ten years <1989-1999> and actually Honorary Dean of the said Law School at La Sagesse University.
Member of the Cairo Bar Association, the Tripoli (Lebanon) Bar Association and Honorary
member of the Dallas Bar Association.
Honored by the French University of Nancy 2 and received the grade of Doctor Honoris Causa for his extensive efforts.
Attorney-at-Law since 1955 (in Egypt) and since 1961 (in Lebanon) and trained in American
Legal system at the Law firm of Donovan, Leisure, Newton and Irvine in New York.
Practicing his profession on an international scale covering most countries of the Middle East,
France, Switzerland, Italy and the United States.
Teaching law ever since 1961, namely International law, Conflict of Laws, Family Law, Anglo-
Saxon Law, Comparative Law, Law on Inheritance and Wills and Intellectual Property.
Author of several law books and publications (in Arabic, French and English) and a long
experience in the legislative field in several Arab countries.
Member of the «Lebanese Association for Intellectual Property».
Acted as Project Director for the “Lebanese Laws in English Project" in collaboration with the
Lebanese Ministry of Economy and Trade and the Lebanese Federation of Chambers of
Commerce, Industry and Agriculture.
