Rany Sader  Secretary-General  Arab Union for Facilitating Trade and Risk Ma

Attorney Rany Sader, Founding Partner at SADER & Associates and Chief Legal Innovation Officer at SADER1863, has been appointed Secretary-General of the Arab Union for Facilitating Trade and Risk Management. 

The Arab Union for Facilitating Trade and Risk Management operates through three key pillars. These include:

• Facilitating and supporting legitimate trade channels and combating various forms of illegitimate trade by developing and coordinating the work areas of union members and collaborating with relevant authorities to address technical, commercial, and risk issues arising from legitimate and illegitimate trade.
• Collaboration, coordination, and building strategic partnerships with the public and private sectors to enhance security and facilitate business operations, thereby promoting trade security,      overcoming customs and non-customs barriers, and controlling illicit practices in trade.
• Developing training programs, holding seminars and conferences on frameworks and standards for trade security and facilitation, and cooperating with official entities to support programs aimed at curbing harmful practices in trade, including but not limited to smuggling, combating counterfeit goods, tax evasion, and violations of competition terms, all of which threaten the growth of national economies.

Attorney Rany brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this significant role, having worked for over 30 continuous years, including many significant milestones in Lebanon and several Gulf countries, notably the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
