 Breaking News: Trademark duration Amendment and Increase in official charges in Lebanon! According to Article 32 of the new Budget Law No. 324 dated 12/02/2024, the duration of trademarks has been officially shortened from 15 to 10 years. 
This significant amendment will solely affect new trademarks registered after the promulgation of this Law. 
Renewals for newly registered trademarks must be processed after a period of 10 years from the registration date.
Be aware that, along with this change, official fees for IP Office formalities have increased as per the new Budget Law.
